A heart-warming and inspiring community festival of popular classics and classic pop, performed by choral and orchestral performers aged 8 to 88, from Sydney and across NSW.

Hear kids helping kids, youth and adult singers and orchestral musicians leading the way — sharing the healing power of music and raising much-needed funds for Music Therapy at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

More than 70 high school and adult choirs represented each year.

No audition|Learn as you go|In person or online|Your pace|At your place

Learning the music is so convenient. All sample performances, music and guides are online for your easy access. There is no required rehearsal attendance, except on concert day. Live rehearsals are live-streamed, and recordings are posted online for you to view any time.

With some of Australia's most experienced music educators as your guides and teachers, you can be assured of a great musical experience.

Our Mission

Many hundreds of children, youth and adults gather once every year, from Sydney, across NSW and the nation, to sing out for the healing power of music. Their mighty Celebration Sing Out! concert raises much-needed funds that support music therapy for kids who are very sick in The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

With TOPS — The Occasional Performing Sinfonia, an 80-piece community symphony orchestra — and the Sydney Town Hall Grand Pipe Organ.

Finale More than 350 primary children join 350+ secondary and adult singers, the full orchestra, the organ — and you. The whole hall sings I Still Call Australia Home.

A heartwarming grand finale — 350+ primary children will join 350+ secondary and adult singers, accompanied by TOPS, a superb 80 piece community-based symphony orchestra, with audience participation.

Brett Weymark OAM

Patron & guest conductor

Artistic Director of the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs since 2003 and one of Australia's foremost choral conductors. Led 150 voices to the BBC Proms in July 2026.

Warren Fisher

Artistic Director

Director of Choirs at Knox Grammar. 36 operas with the Opera Australia Chorus, a decade on stage, and a firm belief that everyone should sing — "because everyone can do it."

Jay House

Associate Artistic Director, Primary Choir

Director of Music and Choral Music at Knox Grammar Preparatory School, ACU lecturer, and member of the NSW Kodály Committee. Conducts the massed primary choir.

Fiona Lucas

Orchestral conductor · President, TOPS

First female Musical Director of the Sydney Wind Symphony. Thirty years teaching, conducting and mentoring young musicians.

Tickets are available now.

All tickets are General Admission. Priority access from 3:15pm for aged, disability and people with infants — text ahead. Foyer, box office and concert hall open 3:30pm. Concert 4:00pm to 6:30pm, with a 20 minute interval. Box office on the day for remaining tickets, souvenir programs and Monster Hamper Raffle tickets, cash or card.
